Frank Feist, Sarah Wujcik and Maureen Moran pose in the children’s gallery in Nashville after putting the finishing touches on the Tennessee State Museum.
The recently opened 50,000 sf Tennessee State Museum is the “Smithsonian of Tennessee,” with a diverse collection representative of Tennessee and spanning from prehistoric to modern times. Through the Time Tunnel, visitors can access artifacts ranging from Chickasaw moccasins to Andrew Jackson’s inauguration hat, to Dolly Parton’s dress. Read the New York Times article to see how one writer was impacted by the heirloom quilts exhibit.
